Herkir and his one daughter exhibit a more streamline look with well balanced gaits.  Some of the comments from the evaluation judges indicate that he is lightly built with well-separated tendons and thick hooves.  He has long strides in the tolt with good extension and suspension in the canter.  His personality is pleasant but he can be wound up for flash at shows and evaluations.  He is very mellow in the field and safe around non-horse people.  His sire is a highly evaluated first prize five gaited stallion with scores of 9 for neck, proportions, hooves and general impression and 8.5 for tolt, trot and temperament.  His dam is a cremello mare, which means that Herkir carries the color gene for offspring that could be palomino, buckskin and smoky black.  He measures 138 cm, which puts him at around 13.2 hands tall.  He is available to go to other farms on lease.
