Hrokur has a kind disposition and easy temperament yet is very willing under saddle.  His four American-born offspring seem to inherit his temperament and are highly spirited.  Hrokur has strong pace and it is believed he would do well mated with 4-gaited mares or 5-gaited mares that do not exhibit strong tendencies toward pace.  He is 140 cm at the withers, which is approximately 13.3 hands tall.
